You’ve got a lot of say on that. That I know.

“Write what you know” is a wonderful, if wooly, adage that too few of us observe, and I’m mighty wary of wasting MY time wading through the dross and dreck. There’s no system to ferret out what does not connote subject expertise and/or writing chops. I think we have to suspend elitist tendencies to make the whole social media indoctrination work, despite the amount of head-shaking going on while we read stumbly newbie postings.

Put another, more rose-coloured way, there are a lot of bright, inexpert people who just haven’t found the range yet. When they do – and you may be among them – their blogs will become those ‘must-read’ experiences I imagine most bloggers aspire to create.
